Red Glue - Aerodux

Thanks to its great flexibility in the curing process, red glue is particularly suitable for laminated or radius chine constructions, for gluing and lamination on large surfaces, floors, beams or toerails, where the wood is also subjected to significant curvatures

FEATURES
The phenolresorcin glue is in the liquid state of a dark brown colour, the catalyst in powder is gray in colour.
The specific weight of the glue is equal to 1150 kg/mc, while that of the catalyst is equal to 450 kg/mc. The dry residue of the glue is 56%.

CONDITION OF THE WOOD
For best results, the timber must be planed. For an excellent resistance of the wood, the planing must be done within 24 hours before the gluing operation. Remove dust from planed surfaces.

COATING
A quantity of glue 300-400 gr/m2. it is recommended for most operations. To glue hardwoods it is necessary to spread the glue on both surfaces according to 150-200 gr/m2.

Temperature of the wood: To respect the indicated pressing times, the temperature of the wood must not be lower than 20°C Subsequent phases 1 day at 20°C
